In order to sign into Skype for Business the user must sign in using their UPN associated to their Active Directory account. This is normally aligned to their email address.
If the email/UPN is not associated with their active directory the user will be prompted to sign in using the active directory Domain and username (DOMAIN\user.name)
Auto discover should run to ensure that the user automatically locates the correct Skype for Business server to sign into.
